Mount Gemi is one of the tallest mountains in Ghana. It is located in the town of Amedzofe in the Volta Region and stands at about 770 meters (around 2,700 feet) above sea level. At its summit, the mountain features a 4-meter iron cross erected by German missionaries in the 1930s. It is a popular hiking destination offering spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding valleys and Lake Volta on clear days. The site also holds spiritual significance and hosts annual pilgrimages during Easter.
