Ankasa Resource Reserve covers about 509 km² of wet evergreen tropical rainforest, making it the most biodiverse forest in Ghana. The reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including forest elephants, bongos, leopards, chimpanzees, Diana monkeys, and over 300 bird species. Key features include the Bamboo Cathedral, Suhien waterfalls, hiking trails, and rich vegetation. The reserve offers camping facilities and is accessible by road from Accra, Takoradi, and Côte d'Ivoire.
